La Posada park in Malaga province is a dedicated 5-star residential retirement mobile home park situated in the village of Alameda not far from the wonderful town of Antequera.
The nearest airport is Malaga which is less than an hour easy drive away thanks to the wonderful motorway network. So are the beaches on the Costa del Sol.
That said, the crystal clear lakes that surround the area are much nicer than any beach we know of but it is still nice to enjoy both on their day.

The facilities.
Facilities on Park La Posada are perfect for retirement. The mobile home park reception employs bi-lingual staff who are there to look after the day-to-day needs of the residents.
Not speaking Spanish is never a problem here. As part of the service, all residents are registered with the local doctors and the local town hall. The park also takes care of the residents’ registration process. Carefree living starts on day one.
Other facilities in this wonderful park include a swimming pool alongside the bar and community centre. This is the focal point for the community.
Entertainment is arranged by the residents themselves as well as snacks and of course drinks provided by the bar staff to enjoy whilst relaxing by the pool.

Services offered by the park also include a telephone, Internet, UK TV, 24-hour security, and your own post box as well as having the rubbish collected daily.
There are already 120 mobile homes on the park and every home enjoys 200 sq mtr landscaped plots with a hedge all around. The hedges maintained by the park’s ground staff look good all year.
Because there are already many mobile homes in the park, a wonderful community spirit now exists. Making new friends is very easy here. Life is all about enjoying yourself. For the golfers, there is a wonderful golf course in Antequera and for the fishermen, there are some wonderful lakes all around. The residents have formed their own fishing club as well.
Next to the mobile home park itself is the Hotel Tempranillo, a 16th-century hotel that is very Spanish. Imagine walking 50 yards to get to real Spain. The experience is quite something. It has a wonderful Spanish bar and restaurant. Even better is the restaurant Candida which is only 100 yards away and there you can enjoy a 3-course lunch including wine for only 10 Euros.
The costs involved in living in the park are also very simple. To enjoy living at Park La Posada only costs 379 Euros a month. For that, you get a very carefree lifestyle with security. Utilities are a lot cheaper than in the UK and metered. Mobile home insurance works out around 200 Euros a year as well.
Most residents agree that 550 Euros a month covers all the bills, including the park fees. That is why the park is so successful. Anyone can now move to Spain knowing they have support. They also make new friends plus have lots to do, and of course, know that family and friends are waiting to visit. That is the lifestyle.
