Malaga Airport Passport Control Proceedures

Text Version:

Malaga airport has a Passport Control system called the Entry/Exit System. It is designed to speed up the passport control process for non-EU citizens.
The system comprises a set of machines that scan passports, take photos and record fingerprints.

Once the process is complete, you will be instructed to proceed to the E Gates, where your passport will be scanned again, with your biometric details already in the system.

Malaga airport hopes that, with the entry-exit system and E-gates, delays at passport control will be minimised. The system works in both directions, entry and exit.

UK citizens need to repeat the process on every visit. Residents with a TIE card must have it on their person and go straight to the E gates, bypassing the exit entry system.

For those coming to visit Spain, we wish you a safe and pleasant journey.
